About this accessory
Meshtastic turns cheap LoRa hardware into an encrypted, infrastructure-free mesh, and the T-Beam is the community's reference node: an ESP32 with a SX1262 LoRa transceiver, an onboard u-blox GNSS receiver, and battery management in one finished board. Load the official Meshtastic firmware and it joins the mesh immediately — long-range text messaging, location sharing and telemetry between nodes with no cellular or WiFi involved, which is exactly what field operations, expeditions and off-grid events need. The GPS also makes it a genuine tracker: position broadcasts across the mesh or logs locally. This is the 868/915 MHz variant appropriate for AU use. Pair two or more and you have a working mesh the same afternoon.
