About this accessory
Most 'board doesn't boot' reports trace back to a phone charger: modern phones negotiate higher voltages, and a plain 5V/2A adapter sags when an SBC spins up peripherals. This adapter supplies a steady 5 V at 4 A over USB-C with an Australian plug and RCM-marked housing, which is the variant you want on an AU wall socket — not the China/US plug default that ships in most kits. It suits Orange Pi and other 5V USB-C SBCs, and it is the PSU we bundle with our DNS appliance build.
Features
- Steady 5 V / 4 A — headroom for loaded SBCs and peripherals
- Australian plug (RCM-marked housing), not the US/China default
- USB-C output suits Orange Pi and Pi-class 5V boards
- Fixed 5V profile — no PD negotiation surprises
- The accessory most SBC 'won't boot' problems come back to
