About this accessory
Meshtastic turns inexpensive LoRa hardware into an encrypted mesh that passes text messages, GPS coordinates and telemetry between nodes with no WiFi, no cellular and no subscription — and this kit is the minimal working pair. You get two Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3-class nodes, each an ESP32-S3 paired with a Semtech SX1262 transceiver and a 0.96-inch OLED, fitted in printed cases with antennas included. Flash the official Meshtastic firmware, pick the AU915 region on both units, and you have a two-node mesh the same afternoon: leave one on a shelf as a base station and carry the other on walks, trips or worksites.
