About this unit

The hub is the node that connects a local mesh to the wider community: a cased Heltec V3 with a 915-928 MHz whip, configured at our bench as an MQTT gateway so its packets uplink to the StealthOz community dashboard — live node map, signal metrics and channel health, free forever. It still relays local traffic like any other node; the uplink adds your area to the community map. Wifi credentials are entered at build from details you provide — we recommend customer-controlled wifi and never store credentials beyond the build. Expect 2-15 km per hop; the uplink adds your area to the map — it is not a coverage promise.
