About this unit
A refurbished Pixel 9a flashed with GrapheneOS in our AU workshop: the hardened Android OS that re-locks verified boot and sandboxes every app. The Pixel 9a receives security updates into Apr 2032 — the longest update horizon of any mid-price SKU we sell — and its Tensor G4 hardware supports the memory-tagging protections GrapheneOS enables by default. We source the refurb through Australian-compliant channels (lost/stolen register checked, IMEI recorded on your invoice), unlock, flash the current verified GrapheneOS release, re-lock the bootloader so verified boot is active from first boot, apply your build options, and run a 30-point QA pass — verified boot status, update channel, call/SMS on an AU network, eSIM activation, battery health — before it ships. Designed for daily-driver use, including most banking apps via GrapheneOS's sandboxed Google Play — the practical degoogled daily phone.
