About this accessory
Brume 2 is the honest answer to 'my TV, console and IoT gear can't run a VPN': put the MT2500A at the edge and it redirects everything behind it — guest devices included — through WireGuard or OpenVPN, as client to your provider or as server for remote access home. The MT2500A variant pairs an aluminium alloy chassis with a MediaTek MT7981B dual-core CPU, 1 GB DDR4 / 8 GB eMMC and a 2.5 GbE WAN port; a USB 3.0 port takes storage or a GL-M2 board for 5G failover. It runs OpenWrt 21.02 underneath, draws under 2.6 W, is fanless and pocket-sized, and speaks 30+ VPN service providers out of the box. For the travel line we already carry, this is the fixed-site anchor.
