About this accessory
Password managers help, but a phished password still phishes. A hardware key closes that: the private key never leaves the device, and the origin-bound challenge means a lookalike site can't use it. This open-source-class key implements FIDO2/WebAuthn and U2F over USB-C, with NFC for tapping onto phones, and it is described and supported by its own open firmware project rather than cloned from a closed brand. Register one key as primary and a second as backup (keys are sold separately) — losing your only key is the classic self-lockout.
