About this accessory
Modern car key fobs never really sleep: they handshake with the vehicle at range, and a pair of cheap radios can relay that handshake from your hallway to your driveway. This rigid faraday box blocks the fob's signal completely when it's closed, so the key inside goes quiet and relay attacks have nothing to relay. It also suits hotel RFID cards, transit cards, and any 13.56 MHz or 125 kHz token you don't want read passively. The rigid shell survives being knocked around a hallway table far better than a fabric pouch, and the closure is a simple press-fit lid — no velcro to wear out. Verified shielding across both common key-fob bands.
Features
- Rigid faraday shell blocks LF (125 kHz) and RF (315/433/868 MHz) fob signals
- Defeats relay-theft handshakes by silencing the fob entirely while stored
- Also shields 13.56 MHz hotel, transit and payment cards
- Press-fit rigid lid — no fabric wear, survives daily handling
