About this accessory
The ESP32-CAM is the cheapest genuine video-surveillance and computer-vision dev board in the maker world: an ESP32-S module with 4 MB PSRAM driving an OV2640 2-megapixel camera, a microSD slot, a status LED and a flash LED. This kit bundles the three things that make it usable: the board itself with the OV2640 attached, an IPEX external 2.4 GHz antenna so streaming does not fight a detuned PCB trace, and an FTDI USB-to-TTL programmer — the board has no native USB, so the programmer is the difference between flashing in five minutes and losing an evening. Point it at the well-known CameraWebServer example and you have motion-detectable WiFi video streaming to a browser.
