About this accessory
The BN-880 is the module the drone and rover crowd reaches for when a basic GPS board stops being enough: a 72-channel receiver covering GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, SBAS and QZSS at ~2.0 m CEP, with a built-in HMC5883L 3-axis compass on its own I2C bus. UART NMEA-0183 output (1-10 Hz configurable) drives ArduPilot, PX4, Pixhawk and any SBC or microcontroller; 4 Mbit of flash keeps your configuration across power cycles. The integrated active patch antenna gets a fix from a balcony, and the 3.6-5.5 V supply range runs straight from a flight controller or USB serial adapter. The clear upgrade over our entry NEO-6M-class wardriving dongle.
